Pentagon Turns Blind Eye to Military Rape Victims

Fourteen current and former members of the U.S. military charged in a lawsuit filed Tuesday that the Pentagon turned a blind eye when they reported being sexually harassed, assaulted and raped by fellow service members while on active duty.

Interviews by NBC News with some of the plaintiffs in the case reveal disturbing and previously unreported allegations of sexual abuse in the military, including some in the war zones of Afghanistan and Iraq. In addition, one of the plaintiffs, identified as a naval aviator, charges in the lawsuit that she was drugged and then gang raped by two of her colleagues while serving at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma just two months ago.

Mary Gallagher, a former sergeant in the Air National Guard, says that within weeks of being deployed to an air base outside of Baghdad in 2009 she was brutally assault by a fellow sergeant who burst into the ladies room, pushed her up against the wall, pulled her pants and underwear down and ground his genitals against her, talking the whole time how much he was enjoying it.

"I thought he was going to kill me that night," Gallagher told NBC in an interview. "I felt completely isolated and alone and really scared. Here I was, in the middle of a foreign country in the middle of a war."

When she reported the attack, she says her commander’s only response was to reassign her assailant and tell her "this stuff happens."

Rebekah Havrilla, a former Army sergeant who served as the only female member of a bomb squad in eastern Afghanistan, said she was attacked by a colleague at Salermo Forward Operating Base near the Pakistani border on her last day in the country in 2007.

"He pushed me down on the bed and used his body weight to hold me down and proceeded to rape me," she said in an interview. While holding her down with one arm, her fellow U.S. Army sergeant took photographs of her. She was later horrified to discover the photographs had been posted on a pornographic website, she said.

Sexual abuse reports rising
The lawsuit, being filed by civil litigator Susan Burke, is an attempt to shine the spotlight on what Pentagon officials have acknowledged is a serious problem — a steady increase in reports of sexual abuse within the U.S. military. Last year, the Pentagon reported there had been 3,230 complaints of sexual abuse by members of the military services during fiscal year 2009, an 11% increase over the year before.

But Pentagon officials acknowledge that most cases go unreported — and of those that do, department figures indicate less than one in four ever get criminally prosecuted.

The lawsuit alleges that the Pentagon has failed to crack down on the sexist culture of the military services or implemented policies that would insure aggressive investigations of those accused and bar retaliation against service members who file complaints.

In addition to the 14 current and former members of the military services who are plaintiffs, there are two others who served in the Coast Guard, a part of Homeland Security, because the Defense Department has some responsibility for handling its sexual abuse complaints. The lawsuit does not identify the names of any of those who allegedly committed the attacks.

"This is a tough issue," said Kaye Whitley, director of the Pentagon’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office, a small unit set up in 2004 to promote training programs and greater sensitivity within the services to the problems of sexual abuse and harassment.

Whitley said she couldn't comment on the specific cases outlined in the complaint, but insisted the Pentagon has been making progress. "We're talking about changing the way people think and the way people feel … the research tells us it takes eight to ten years to change the culture."

The lawsuit specifically names Defense Secretary Robert Gates and his predecessor, Donald Rumsfeld, as defendants, charging that both have failed to take aggressive measures to deal with the problem or follow edicts from Congress.

Delays with reporting complaints?
It charges, for example, that Rumsfeld in 2004 delayed reporting members to a commission mandated by Congress to investigate the military's handling of sexual assault cases and resisted congressional oversight of the issue. It accuses Gates of violating the plaintiffs' constitutional rights by permitting military commanders to use "nonjudicial punishments" for accused rapists — and failing to meet a congressionally mandated deadline for creating a database that would centralize all reports of rapes and sexual assaults.

"Sexual assault is a wider societal problem and Secretary Gates has been working with the service chiefs to make sure the U.S. military is doing all it can to prevent and respond to it," Geoff Morrell, Gates' press secretary, wrote in an email to NBC.

"That means providing more money, personnel, training and expertise, including reaching out to other large institutions such as universities to learn best practices. This is now a command priority, but we clearly still have more work to do in order to ensure all of our service members are safe from abuse," he added.

'I just kind of panicked'
One of the more disturbing stories in the complaint is that of Sarah Albertson, a former Marine corporal at Camp Pendleton who says that after a night of partying, a superior officer climbed into the bed where she was sleeping and forced himself on her.

"I just kind of panicked, froze. I didn't say anything," she said. She admits she was drinking heavily that night, but after reporting the incident, she was still forced to work in the same office as her assailant.

"I was told I needed to suck it up until the end of the investigation and I was told to respect the rank he deserves," she said. Suffering from depression as a result of the experience, she gained 30 pounds and was eventually assigned to a weight-loss training program. The officer in charge was the man she says had raped her. "He was in charge of judging my body," she said.

Albertson — like Havrilla and Gallagher — says the men they accused denied the charges of non-consensual sex, essentially making their cases ones of "he said-she said."

But all three believed their military commanders never took their complaints as seriously as they should have. As much as they say they don't want to sweep this [problem] under the rug, "that’s what they want to do," said Gallagher.

"It's sad in a way that you have to file a lawsuit to get their attention."

Lady GaGa's Negative Effect on LGBT Community

One of the biggest problems I have with Lady GaGa (other than her pretentious attitude, all of the negative occult imagery and the fact that she copies other artists and then convinces her fans she's original) is that I believe she is leading the gay community down a sinister path of materialism, idolatry, Luciferianism and overall bad taste. She owes the gay community a better message than "don't be a drag, be a queen." After all, it was the gay community who helped bring her into the mainstream. GaGa's latest single, "Born This Way," sends the message that homosexuality can't be changed, because gay people are born gay. I don't have a problem with that. My problem is with the way she has portrayed gay men and women throughout her career. While Britney's new song, "Hold It Against Me" was released on 1/11/2011, GaGa's "Born This Way" was released 2/11/2011. 11 and 22 are of course master numbers, in Masonic numerology.

11 is the most intuitive of all numbers. Intuition is the sixth sense and 6 is the number of man. 11 represents illumination, a channel to the subconscious, insight without rational thought, sensitivity, nervous energy (anxiety), shyness, and impracticality. 11 has all the aspects of 2, enhanced and charged with charisma, leadership, and inspiration. It is a number with inborn duality, which creates dynamism, inner conflict, and other catalyses with its mere presence. 11, when not focused on some goal beyond itself, can be turned inward to create fears and phobias. The number 11 walks the edge between greatness and self-destruction. Its potential for growth, stability, and personal power lies in its acceptance of intuitive understanding, and of spiritual truths. For the 11, such peace (GaGa has the so-called peace symbol/symbol of the broken Jew or cross tattooed on her left wrist) is not found so much in logic, but in faith. 11 is also considered the psychic's number.

22 is considered is the most powerful of all numbers. It is often called the "Master Builder". 22 can turn the most ambitious of dreams into reality. It is potentially the most successful of all numbers. It has many of the inspirational insights of the 11, combined with the practicality and methodology of the 4. 22 is unlimited, yet disciplined. It sees the archetype, and brings it down to Earth in some material form. It has big ideas, great plans, idealism, leadership, and enormous self-confidence. If not practical, the 22 could lead to wasted potential. 22 serves the world in a practical way.

When I first heard GaGa say that she was bisexual, I rolled my eyes because in the past decade, so many young women have followed in the steps of Angelina Jolie and "admitted" to being bisexual or have been seen kissing other women, as if bisexuality or homosexuality is some trend. The problem with that is that it leads ignorant people, who are heterosexual and completely against homosexuality, to continue to believe and preach that homosexuality is wrong and homosexuals can become heterosexuals because sexuality is something that you can change or turn off like a switch.

There is an obvious double standard with sexuality played out in American society. Katy Perry is seen as sexy when she sings some stupid song called "I Kissed A Girl" but no man could ever get away with that. Female sexuality is always heavily exploited but female homosexuality is glamorized to make it acceptable for young men to fantasize about, while male homosexuality is demonized and dehumanized for public humiliation or comedic relief. The video above is from "In Living Color" and it is hilarious but it also negatively portrays gay men, particularly African-American gay men.

Throughout GaGa's career, she has portrayed gay men in the same stereotypical fashion the mainstream media does. Perez Hilton, who clung to GaGa early on, like pubic lice, is one of the loudest, most obnoxious human beings on the blog circuit and just because he is gay, MSNBC wants to know what he thinks of gay marriage, as if he is an expert on marriage or is the spokesman for the entire gay community. The guy doesn't even have a boyfriend and he's been single for years now. Instead of getting someone like Andy Cohen, from Bravo, the media wants to find the most unappealing gay person they can find so that the image and sound of this person stays with the viewer and if they think negatively about this person, that negative opinion will attach itself to whatever subject they are talking about.

The Bible has been edited so many times that we may never know God's final word on sexuality. We don't even know God's real name. The Hebrews called him "Elohim," which is plural and "El" was the name of Saturn, aka Satan. How do we know Satan didn't edit the Holy Bible to make it say that homosexuals should be killed off? If you look throughout history, men have always vilified homosexuals and punished them. Men like Muhammad (who married a 9 year old girl) Hitler, and Fred Phelps but never Christ. Christ taught abstinence as well as tolerance. He didn't teach fear and hate of the unknown or misunderstood.

If you look at nature, at other mammals, zoologists will tell you that homosexuality and even bisexuality appears in the animal kingdom. People on a crusade against homosexuality will bring up the fact that pedophilia appears in the animal kingdom as well but homosexuality and pedophilia are not the same thing. We aren't talking about hurting children, we're talking about two consenting adults who are not touching anyone but each other. How does that effect anybody but them? It doesn't. The idea that homosexuality is nature's answer to population control makes people uncomfortable but it makes perfect sense to me.

In Lady GaGa's video for "Alejandro," male soldiers are wearing high heels, further feminizing and emasculating gay men. Then, she appears to be raping one man. Anal sex is associated with homosexuality but what isn't brought up much is the movement within the gay community against anal sex (site not safe for work or under 18). Many gay men believe that anal sex depicts consensual rape and that because the lining of the anus is so sensitive, nothing should be forced into it. Instead, they offer other, safer ways of outercourse, where the penis is never introduced into the body. They also believe that the dominant and submissive states during anal sex, masculate the dominate man but emasculate the submissive man, leading to unequal relationship structures since both men should be treated as equals. I don't know about you, but if some guy tried sticking anything in my ass, I'd blow my rape whistle and punch him in the mouth!

My point of this article wasn't to promote homosexuality, bisexuality or change your mind about what you should or shouldn't believe. I'm just pointing out the obvious; our society treats the LGBT community as a lower class. Society dictates that gay men and women must be grouped together with bisexual men and women and also transgendered men and women, but then keeps the LGBT community separate from heterosexual men and women. Every human being deserves to love and be loved as long as they choose to do so with a consenting adult and no one is being hurt. Stereotypes are good for a quick laugh but when does it stop being funny? The "In Living Color" clip I posted was from the early 90's but not much has changed. There are people who actually believe there is some kind of "gay agenda" being pushed on the world. Some Christian actually told me on Vigilant Citizen's message board once that if gay men were serving in the army, America would be taken over so fast because he believed that gay men can't fight in battle. With the recent repeal of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy, hopefully people who think like that idiot will finally wake up from the negative propaganda surrounding the LGBT community. Human sexuality is treated as a duality, but it clearly is not so black and white.

Food Prices Continue to Steadily Rise Across the World

The price of food and gasoline is expected to continue to rise steadily all over the world this year. In countries like India and Haiti, the high prices could lead to violent riots like they did in 2008. In the United States, about one third of maize crops go to biofuel which is making corn prices about 45 percent higher, while cotton hasn't been this expensive since the Civil War. In Russia, drought in the Black Sea region have lead to the country banning the export of wheat. All eyes are currently on South America, where chocolate resources have recently come under threat, due to the growing world population's addiction for this man-made-sweet treat. Its even been said that chocolate could be one of the rarer products in the next twenty years if innovative ways of growing cocoa are not found. Even if new ways of chocolate production are found, I'm sure the evil powers that be will still hoard whatever resources are left for themselves.

Unfortunately, Senate Bill 510, the dreaded "Food Safety Bill" which would make gardening and seed saving illegal, passed a few weeks ago. NOT ONE state senator voted against the bill! Still think Democrats are your only other option from the Republicans? They're on the same side; all puppets for the same cause: a one world government. The government doesn't want us to grow our own food because they would rather feed us chemically altered produce and control what we put inside our bodies. They want to outlaw seed saving, meanwhile, governments all over the world are hoarding seeds in underground facilities, as if they are preparing for something. With no farmer's markets or organic food markets, the government controls the only food resources available, which means they decide who eats and who doesn't during a possible food shortage.

Another factor that will surely make food prices higher is the price of gasoline. What country will be wasting gasoline and money (that they don't have to begin with--even when they just print more of it) on exporting food when there is already a shortage? The only produce that will likely be available are the ones from the evil Monsanto Company, dubbed "suicide seeds" by the media because of farmers in India who have commited suicide when their crops did not grow due to Monsanto's Terminator technology. Monsanto has donated $4 Million worth of these non-reproducing seeds to Haiti, after the allegedly HAARP produced earthquake, which were quickly burned, as many farmers found them useless. These seeds are a man-made abomination made to grow vegetables that do not have viable seeds for reproduction. Why would Monsanto create and offer such unnatural seeds? To control the produce market in different countries with the end goal of population reduction, of course. He who controls the food, controls the population. There is already fluoride in our water, which calcifies your pineal gland, the third eye of occult texts and mystic teachings.

If you thought organic food was more expensive now, just wait until next year. Your local grocery store could get rid of the organic section all together. And those farmer's markets and health food stores? Do you really think the government wants us to have choices? My point of this article was not to scare you, it was to get you to take action. This is past serious. Monsanto is one of the most greedy, power-hungry companies of the modern age. Around 90% of all corn, soybeans and cotton are grown from genetically engineered seeds/genetically modified organisms (GMOs). These genetically enhanced products appear in nearly 70% of all American processed food products. Monsanto controls about 90% of all genetically engineered seeds, meaning Monsanto controls and owns patents on most of the American food supply. They don't want organic foods because they are better for us. They will help us live longer and that is not a good thing for these assholes. The reason organic foods are smaller (the norm), brighter (colors are naturally more saturated and appealing to the eye) and more expensive is because they are not treated with chemical pesticides and other synthetic products to make them grow bigger, faster and sterile like Monsanto's mutant produce.

Recently, a study by the International Journal of Biological Sciences revealed that Monsanto's Mon 863, Mon 810, and Roundup herbicide-absorbing NK 603 in corn caused kidney and liver damage in laboratory rats. Scientists also discovered damage to the heart, spleen, adrenal glands and even the blood of rats that consumed the chemically altered corn. The study concluded a "state of hepatorenal toxicity." And wouldn't you know it, Monsanto had something else to say after their own 90 day study. Monsanto gathered its own crude statistical data, even though chronic problems can rarely be found after only 90 days (some of us eat this mutant produce all our lives), and concluded that the corn was safe for consumption.

In the conclusion of the IJBS study, researchers wrote: "Effects were mostly concentrated in kidney and liver function, the two major diet detoxification organs, but in detail differed with each GM type. In addition, some effects on heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells were also frequently noted. As there normally exists sex differences in liver and kidney metabolism, the highly statistically significant disturbances in the function of these organs, seen between male and female rats, cannot be dismissed as biologically insignificant as has been proposed by others. We therefore conclude that our data strongly suggests that these GM maize varieties induce a state of hepatorenal toxicity....These substances have never before been an integral part of the human or animal diet and therefore their health consequences for those who consume them, especially over long time periods are currently unknown." Monsanto has immediately responded to the study, stating that the research is "based on faulty analytical methods and reasoning and do not call into question the safety findings for these products."

The food drama is just now getting media attention. I try to stay away from the mainstream news because they only tell you what they want you to believe but from what I've caught recently, there has been no mention of Senate Bill 510. Recently, Rawesome Foods was raided by gun-drawn police who had a warrant to remove raw milk and dairy products from stock. The Food and Drug Administration, the Los Angeles Health Department, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, the Los Angeles Disctrict Attorney's Office, and the California Department of Food and Agriculture were all behind this ridiculous move. The New World Order's Police State agenda is in full-force it seems. These pigs in uniform even left the refrigerator doors and curtains open to deliberately let the food spoil so no one could have the natural foods they had a problem with. This is why I have a problem with the police. The filth here in Arizona (Sheriff Joe Arpaio) walk around stroking their own dicks, molesting women and abusing their power. As the United States government continues to infringe upon our illusion of rights, we all go on about our day wanting to believe that the economy ended on a "strong note" in 2010 and will continue to get better...but who are we kidding? Senate Bill 510 Would Outlaw Gardening and Saving Seeds

(Natural News) Senate Bill 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act, has been called "the most dangerous bill in the history of the United States of America." It would grant the U.S. government new authority over the public's right to grow, trade and transport any foods. This would give Big brother the power to regulate the tomato plants in your backyard. It would grant them the power to arrest and imprison people selling cucumbers at farmer's markets. It would criminalize the transporting of organic produce if you don't comply with the authoritarian rules of the federal government.

This law would also give the U.S. government the power to arrest any backyard food producer as a felon (a "smuggler") for merely growing lettuce and selling it at a local farmer's market.

It also sells out U.S. sovereignty over our own food supply by ceding to the authority of both the World Trade Organization (WTO) and Codex Alimentarius.

It would criminalize seed saving (http://foodfreedom.wordpress.com/20...), turning backyard gardeners who save heirloom seeds into common criminals. This is obviously designed to give corporations like Monsanto a monopoly over seeds.

It would create an unreasonable paperwork burden that would put small food producers out of business, resulting in more power over the food supply shifting to large multinational corporations.

3) Once connected ask to speak to the legislative staff person responsible for agriculture. If they are unavailable leave a voice mail message. Be sure to include your name and phone number.

Give them this message in support of the "Tester Amendment" which would exempt small farms from S 510:

"I am a constituent of Senator___________. I ask that he/she support the Tester Amendment to the food safety bill. The Tester Amendment will exempt the safest, small, owner-operator farms and food facilities and farmers who direct market their products to consumers, stores or restaurants. Food safety legislation should not create inappropriate and costly regulatory barriers to family farms and the growing healthy food movement in the drive to crack down on corporate bad actors. Please support the Tester Amendment and market opportunities for small and mid-sized family farms, and small food processing facilities."

You may also wish to explain that you oppose the Food Safety Modernization Act in its entirety, and it is a destructive, freedom-crushing law that will destroy the future of food in America.

Remember, America has already lost control over its money supply to the Federal Reserve (nearly a hundred years ago). America has lost its health due to the medical industry and its profit-from-sickness agenda. Now we may lose our right to grow our own food and save our own seeds if Senate Bill 510 passes.

This is a dangerous, tyrannical law that would thrust the American people into an age of darkness and malnutrition. It would criminalize many of the very people growing our food and turn food production into yet another corporate monopoly.

U.S. Senate Bill S 510 is now on the Senate floor where a vote is expected shortly. On the 17th, the motion to invoke cloture passed on a vote of 74-25, sending the bill forward for a final vote perhaps as early as next week.
